Welcome to Calgary 55 Plus Hockey Association

The Calgary 55 Plus Hockey Association was formed in 1990 to provide an opportunity for Calgary and area players 55 years and older to participate in recreational hockey for the fun of the game.  Association members play in various arenas around the city, join in the camaraderie and fellowship, and support community programs through annual contributions to selected charities.  There are currently fourteen teams playing out of the South Fish Creek { Cardel Rec Centre} with one team playing out of each of the Optimist Arena, Renfrew Arena, Norma Bush  and Flames Community  Arenas.  The teams primarily play in the mornings and early afternoon.

Our season runs from October 1 to March 31.  All of our teams play in the mornings from Monday to Friday.  Our players range in age from 55 to 89.  Prospective players are tried to be placed on teams with similar skill and ability  A full schedule of times and arenas can be found under Team Information/ Rosters tab.

2026 / 2027 Season

SFC Bronze Team (75+)
